COVID-19 Vaccine Update (02/26/2021)

Thank you for your interest in the COVID-19 Vaccine.

Washington State is currently in Phase 1B, Tier 1 of vaccination.  There are four tiers in phase 1B and the first tier is those 65yo and older as well as those 50 years and older living in multigenerational households (i.e. 50+ yo children whose parents live with them).

You may use the following tool from the WA State Department of Health to see if you are currently eligible for vaccine by visiting the website for the Washington State Dept. of Health and select Vaccine Phase Finder.   If eligible, the application will allow you to print or screen shot an eligibility letter and you can take this to a vaccination site.  If you are not yet eligible, the site offers to contact you once the state moves to the phase of vaccination that includes you.

Pioneer has been able to administer 200 prime doses and 100 booster doses since Jan 4.  We will not be receiving any vaccine the week of March 1st-6th.  As you have heard about in the news, the vaccine supply is variable and unpredictable.  Despite ordering vaccine each week since Jan 4, we have only been able to secure 300 doses thus far.  We will receive vaccine in 100 dose allocations.  Due to the low supply of the vaccine, the process of getting the vaccine to everyone that wants it will take time.  We appreciate your patience.

You may look for other sites in Thurston County that are offering COVID vaccine by visiting the website for the Washington State Department of Health and select vaccine locations

The best time to check these sites is the end of the week, Friday and Saturday, as this is when vaccine providers find out if they will be getting vaccine the following week and they may open up additional appointments.
