COVID-19 Vaccine Update (01/19/2021)
Thank you for your interest in the COVID-19 Vaccine.
Gov. Jay Inslee announced WA State has moved to Phase 1B of vaccination. The age requirement has been lowered to include those persons 65 years of age and older. There are still 4 tiers in phase 1B and the first tier will be those 65yo and older as well as those 50 years and older living in multigenerational households.
You may use the following tool from the WA State Department of Health to see if you are currently eligible for vaccine by logging onto the WA State Dept of Health and Selecting Vaccine Phase Finder. If eligible, the application will allow you to print or screen shot an eligibility letter and you can take this to a vaccination site once they are available. If you are not yet eligible, the site offers to contact you once the state moves to the phase of vaccination that includes you.
Pioneer has not received any COVID vaccine since Jan 4 despite ordering weekly. The state has not told us when we can expect our next shipment of vaccine. We will receive vaccine in 100 dose allocations. Due to the low supply of the vaccine, the process of getting the vaccine to everyone that wants it will take time. We appreciate your patience.
Vaccination centers will be set up across Washington over the next few weeks that will be able to accommodate larger numbers of people. You may look for other sites that are offering COVID vaccine here: https://www.doh.wa.gov/YouandYourFamily/Immunization/VaccineLocations
Updates will be posted when new information is available.
